30 years old. That last tinge of childhood wonder is all I think about sometimes when I look at my son, I hope his perspective is joyous and strange. I sometimes look back at the advents of artifacts that reference an era in time nobody can quite explain unless you’ve been there, entire lives that’ve been people watching or seeing faces in clouds, they’ll will never retell those experiences. My son gets this overstimulated rush of anxiety and excitement when we’re on a busy street or in a busy area, I can tell he’s thinking, he’ll dream of these places one day in such a warped way he won’t know where it references until he’s older, I just hope he’s experiencing a childhood as amazing as mine.I should point at face in trees, cars and clouds more, he’d get a kick out of that.

In recent years I have found both to be lacking, which has prompted me to write more on my own and share it. This led to others poking me to find a publisher. And here we are!I sent in a 18 page draft today. That's about middle of the road for the length they wanted. As usual, it's custom work following the prompt and some of the "wishlist" ideas the publisher was looking for. From idea to finished draft it took about five days. I always take a little time to plan out a work and do research before I start. I also step away from a work, do other things, then come back and polish it before sending it in. Five days includes all of the above. And yes, I still am doing my ghostwriting in between. Tonight it's time for anime and beer. Tomorrow it's back to the page.
