"Females of many species mate with multiple males, thereby inciting competition among ejaculates from rival males for fertilization. In response to increasing sperm competition, males are predicted to enhance their investment in sperm production. This prediction is so widespread that testes size (correcting for body size) is commonly used as a proxy of sperm competition, even in the absence of any other information about a species' reproductive behaviour."

I found these pictures on the internet but left image, I have many orange coloured "welsh poppies" in my garden (identify app classifies it as welsh poppy). Today a yellow one has bloomed. I have never seen a yellow one before. How do I make more of this? Should I try to harvest the seeds it produces and grow them or will orange ones grow from them? In my village (The Netherlands) the orange coloured poppy is common, I've never seen a yellow one in anyone elses garden.

First of all no, China is about 90% han which is only 10% more than Britian and is about the same as places like Spain and less than places like Italy. Secondly, han isn't as concrete as western descriptions of culture are. For instance, Cantonese people have a very distinct culture compared to the Min, yet they are still considered Han. Calling yourself Han is kind of analogous to being "traditionally Chinese" culture wise whilst simultaneously not being part of one of the aforemention excluded minority groups.

The problem is twofold:
1. Nobody cares about animal medicine outside of agriculture. You imagine there would be a veterinary interest in, say, treating dogs of various viruses; but there really isn't. If your dog is sick, they will receive not even a fraction of equivalent treatment to a human - and I mean that in terms of knowledge. A lot of things could be wrong with a given animal, and it's probably in a textbook somewhere, but whatever if it dies get another one. So as a result research into human-originated animal diseases, you'll only find any interest if it is in regard to cows or pigs or sheep.
2. Diseases thrive in close contact and in high populations in close contact. This is far more common in factory farm conditions than in urban centers, because at the end of the day at least you can crawl back to your own bed and not sleep near your own shit or be fed chopped up animal corpses - which is not always the case for factory farms but is sometimes the case and where these serious animal borne diseases come from. Humans-originated diseases tend to be the ones we've always had, and as a result we're adapted to; while animal diseases are often novel and attack humans as a host without a good immune response and thus goes at it like we're a buffet.

Pretty much every single mainstream macro doesn't exist in NZ and we just have ugly coldwater bastards you have to snorkel for.
